Britney Spears already has her famous family of fragrances, and Christina Aguilera will launch her first American scent soon — and now it looks like pop’s edgier princess is getting in on the fragrance game too. Avril Lavigne has just confirmed to WWD that she’s inked a deal with Proctor & Gamble Prestige Products to create a perfume line directed at her teen fans. “Creating this fragrance is a fun process and I am looking forward to sharing it with everyone,” she tells the paper. And while there’s no official launch date yet, the fragrance is expected to hit stores sometime during the second half of 2009. Tell us: Will you wear Avril’s scent?

I like Avrils earlier music, but now shes just a wannabe. And I dont like perfume, and even if I did, just because shes advertising it doesn’t mean I’ll buy ut.

well if it smells good and is at a decent price, I probably will buy. who cares who made the product? If its good its good but don’t make your decision on the person who makes it just because you don’t like them.
