Gwyneth Paltrow: The New Face of Tod’s

Lionel Cironneau/AP

Gwyneth Paltrow has been on a hot streak since she turned up the sex appeal while promoting Iron Man. She not only has looked totally glamorous in Chanel and Lanvin at Cannes, but she also announced her newest role while at the festival — the face of luxury brand Tod’s. At a party in her honor in Cannes, Gwyneth tells PEOPLE that she loves working with Tod’s, “I felt immediately like they brought me into their family.” And the feeling is mutual — Tod’s CEO Claudio Castiglioni tells PEOPLE exclusively that “She is an icon, she has beautiful manners. She is super sweet, funny, intelligent, opinionated, very diplomatic. Honestly, I need to find a defect because I start to fall in love, too!” We can’t wait to fall in love with her ads when they break this fall, and in the meantime, check out the short film that Gwyneth stars in for Tod’s at tods.com.

INF

She might be about to make a foray into fashion with her own soon-to-launch line of leggings — but that doesn’t mean that Lindsay Lohan is saving her star style for her signature collection alone. A label spokesperson tells WWD they selected Lindsay because she “is that very self-confident, dynamic woman, she’s got a lot of attitude.” And, he adds, “That’s what we’re hoping our customer will aspire to.” And while for now Lindsay’s sticking to modeling for the company’s upcoming ad campaign, she reveals to WWD that although she’d love to design for the label in the future, “Right now, it’s just leggings for me.” Tell us: What do you think about Lindsay’s new role as the face of Fornarina?

Credit: Bill McCay/WireImage

With her stellar singing career and super-hot fiance Josh Duhamel, we have to admit we wouldn’t mind putting ourselves in Fergie‘s shoes — and soon we’ll be able to! The singer has just announced that she’ll be sharing her glam star style with a new line of footwear for Brown Shoes. “I have always loved fashion,” she says, “because it’s a great way to express your mood. And I’m definitely a shoe lover!” As for why she chose to go with shoes, the star explains, “The right pair of shoes can change the feel of an outfit — and even change how a woman feels about herself. A woman can wear confidence on her feet with a high stiletto, or slip into weekend comfort with a soft ballet flat.” We can’t wait to check out the full collection when it launches in Spring 2009. Tell us: Will you wear Fergie’s footwear?
