Sneak Peek from the Set: Cameron Diaz Goes Bald!

05/22/2008 at 09:34 AM ET

Fame

Cameron Diaz has gone bald for her new movie My Sister’s Keeper! Well, not really — according to her rep, the actress tucked her famous blond locks under a bald cap for her role in the drama. And amazingly, we think Cameron doesn’t look bad bald! If anything, it almost makes her beautiful teal blue eyes pop even more. Tell us: What do you think of Cameron Diaz bald? Do you love it or hate it?

I wouldn’t say BETTER but she is so gorgous baldness doesn’t take her beauty away.

Kim v on

It’s definitely not flattering, but I admire her for going all-out for her role.

Leah on

Let’s just say Im glad its not permanent!! It does make her eyes stand out, but there are others way to do that lol

As a woman who lost her hair last year due to chemotherapy, i can’t stand these Hollywood stunts — being considered BRAVE because she’s wearing a bald cap? I can’t stand Cameron Diaz and these pictures do nothing but annoy me. When you’ve experienced hair loss due to illness in real life, this is very annoying.

Olga on

She looks terrible! Plus, her sculp form isn’t perfect.

Bebe on

some women can actually pull it off, like demi moore. but her head’s shape i’m sorry to say does not do well for her bald. the woman needs some hair.

Kataze on

Wow, she looks like she’s playing in the Coneheads sequel!

Jo on

I thought Cameron was playing the role of the older sick sister in “My Sister’s Keeper.”

Sara on

I also think it is stupid that she is called BRAVE for wearing a bald cap, big deal, anyone can do that. My mom lost her hair due to cancer and i think that taking chemotherapy is alot braver than putting on a hat. Sorry, i think Cameron Diez is beautiful but i dont think it should be such a big deal.

That looks amazingly realistic…. I definately don’t think it’s an attractive look. It breaks my heart for women who have to go through that in real life.

Barbie on

her head form is not appealing I thought she was doing a coneheads sequel, plus she should have been more brave for the money she is paid and shaved it off instead of tucking it back,

Liann on

That big, natural smile of hers takes away from how much hair she has (or hasn’t). For a star that big to not fuss over “hair” and make-up so much, to me, shows character!

Who cares if she’s bald, the woman is Hot!!

RayRay83 on

I would be way more impressed if Cameron actually went all out for the role and buzzed off her real hair ala Demi Moore or Natalie Portman. That takes real guts to do!

Mary on

I think those of you who are saying that this is terrible because you know chemo/cancer survivors are just overreacting. No one is saying that Cameron is “brave” for wearing a bald cap. It’s just for a movie role. For all you know, she could be playing a cancer survivor as well.

Yeesh.

I think she’s too old to be playing that character. Give me a break… did’t she read the book. She’s old enough to be the mother in that story.

tina on

She’s pretty as usual but the conehead thing is happening here! But she’d look good in a burlap sack and a mustache!!

la on

she looks like one of the coneheads!

María on

She is A-W-F-U-L

yikes!!! not a good look for her! her head is kinda pointed, not to be mean or anything, that’s probably just how her hair was styled when they put the cap on.

hate the sweater too. looks too much like a bathrobe. : x

Jen on

She looks like the long lost conehead

Reenie needs to chill, I lost my hair too due to chemo and only have about an inch back so far… While I wouldn’t go so far to say it was a bold move for Cameron, when I first saw it I thought “boy the shape of her head is really unfortunate!” Glad to know her hair is still under there.

TopOfTheThread on

She looks like one of Charlie Manson’s crew…

Sean on

She looks like an alien :((

Katee on

I just finished chemo and am blad. I wish my baldness is just a cap I could pull off. Being bald isn’t funny when you are fighting to stay a live.

I wouldn’t go as far as to say it looks better on her, but it doesn’t look horrible! She is sooo beautiful and I think her eyes pop just fine on their own. But I commend her for taking that role.

Theresa on

That is not for Cameron she looks great with her blonde hair bald doesn’t look good nor gorgeous on her so please don’t wear that thing on your head before the movie set.I personally thing that that is disgusting!!!

marie m. on

If God by some reason takes your hair, deal with it. If the $$$ is right, almost any women actress will take the chance to be bald. In reality,
“Women are not meant to look good bald, PERIOD!”

kaylee on
