It’s from 1997 and is the most luscious heavy cashmere (from back when cashmere was a rarity and didn’t pill) and it’s a subtle mixture of dark blue and black threads so you can wear it with everything. I pull it out every year and mix it with up-to-date accessories and it always looks new.

I got it at a shop in Canada when I went on a field trip. It’s a grey shirt with blue mesh short sleeves. On the body, Niagara Falls is written in 80′s style cursive. I still keep it in my wardrobe rotation because it’s so unique. I’ve never seen another shirt like it, even in stores that reproduce vintage shirts. The shirt also has that comfortably thin old t-shirt texture.
