Splash News; Big Pictures/Bauer-Griffin

All eyes are on the stars of Speed Racer as they make their way around the globe promoting their stylish new movie. . .so what gives with all the mismatched denim? First Emile Hirsch hit the L.A. premiere in his faded denim jacket and jeans, and then Christina Ricci mirrored the look while making her way to her London hotel. We love the solidarity between co-stars, but how about stepping it up a notch? Tell us: Do you wear denim jackets with your jeans?

Yes I do. Matching denim would look too contrived.

Eww, no. Never. I love my jeans and my denim jacket but I wear them separately.

Absolutely not! Denim top and bottom is too much! I would opt for one or the other!

I love denim as much as the next person, but this is overload! There’s nothing chic about a Texas tuxedo.

Wow – Christina Ricci looks fabulous.. I dont typically love demin outifts (the horror of JT and Britney many moons ago), but I really think this works, even the great LV bag.

i cant believe that is Ricci! she looks a little sickly

mamita on

who cares bout the denim-what about that LV Christina is toting?

Umm, no thanks. I rather not wear jean pants and a jean coat. I don’t care if they are different colours. It makes me feel like a cowboy!

I think it would be okay if it was dark black denim and a different color denim jacket. Mismatched blue denim just clashes.

definitely to much denim… i mean i am a fan but a two-toned outfit looks good on no one! And when you think about it, if they were the same color it would look just as tacky.. my advice is stay away!
