The entire line is tawdry. Why would I spend money on this line when I get spend the same amount and get better quality clothes at H&M, Target or Old Navy?

Another no-talent mess! In response to the last comment…..just because most people hate Heidi does not mean they are “jealous”. It takes a moron not to realize she is simply ugly, fake and just happened to be in the right place, the right time. There are so many talented/beautiful people to admire, and Heidi is absolutely disgusting and pathetic. That isn’t “jealousy” talking, it is just plain fact.

Smith’s comment is a little harsh and catty to me, her choice of hair dye and breast implants really have no revelence to her clothing line…someone sounds a little jealous to me. Anyway, in reagrds to her clothing line, I do think that Heidi is trying her hand at different trades and has become somewhat over-exposed as a result, but really….don’t buy the clothes if you don’t like them. It seems like she’s trying to find different ways to stay in the spotlight and at least she’s not in jail, having Spencer’s baby or in rehab while she’s trying to find herself. I say cut her some slack.

I think her line is a boring as the next. It showcases booty shorts and tiny tanks! If you call paying that kind of money for such a small amount of clothing a deal, well then it’s probably the right line for you!

How is this even a “Fashion line”? It is like 5 shirts and 5 bottoms that look like something you could find at K-mart or elsewhere and a lot of cheap looking jewelry. That is all based on an opinion formed WITHOUT taking the creater into account! These are not stand out signature pieces! They are at best cheap shorts and tanks you would wear to the beach. Maybe I am overly critical….

I think it’s safe to say that this cheap-looking, lackluster line is the most you could expect from someone whose design philosophy is based on her belief that there’s not enough zebra print in the world.

You know what, I fault Reality TV. Reality film crew doesn not equal paparazzi! She thinks she’s a star, self-proclaimed I guess…but not a fashionista! If anyone from the Hills should come out with a line, it should be Whitney….now there’s a girl with a DNA for style!

Okay I think we have a few things established here – yes, Heidi’s recent opportunities in music and fashion seemed to have stemmed from her stint on “The Hills”, and yes, the majority seems to view her singing unfavorably and her clothing line as typical and chic in comparison to other crossover celebrities. I agree that the music video and song filmed by Spencer Pratt looked really low-budget and could have used some professional direction, but then again, I’ve seen tons of videos that were worse in the message that was sent WITH the aid of experienced directors. I can’t help but to wonder if people are so quick say negative things about her because of her character portrayed on The Hills. Maybe she’s not good at the things she chooses to pursue, I personally think she’s smart to take advantage of the opportunities that she has now because of the show, she got breast implants for free (and probably her lip injections too)and she gets the chance to chase her dreams of being a singer and clothing designer and I’m sure we’ll see her dabble in other things as time passes. I agree with Brandi, she’s over-exposed and nothing spetacular, but she’s working her time in the spotlight and she’s not hurting anyone. There are quite a few celebs out there that live horrible lifestyles and seem to be rewarded for bad behavior…Heidi, like her fashion, seems pretty ordinary and I think people should just relax and let her do her thing. :) Ciao

How could this be considered a line? Its a bunch of mismatched t-shirts and booty shorts. Even if you like Heidi, you have to admit, this isn’t a line or a collection or fashion. Its a bunch of poorly designed basics that you could buy anywhere without having to endorse her.

Soooo boring and cheap looking…this girl has no talent both in fashion and singing. Maybe its time for some REALITY CHECK!!!!!!

I agree with Nicole she isn’t doing anymore than other D-list reallity star wishing for A-list status (including L.C. whose clothes are way overpriced for someone who will probably be irrelavant as soon as MTV hits the cancel button on her show) which for me can’t be soon enough so I don’t have to walk past a magzine stand or flip past E! News and see any of their faces.

Wow sorry got off subject…I like her line its what you see most 17-25 year olds wearing nowadays anyway and for the most part is affordable. If I were a size “0″ I would by it.

According to Heidi…”I have a passion for fashion for a long time, I even went to school for it” and then she effin dropped out of FIDM!! I GRADUATED from FIDM and if ever I come up with a line, it will never look like her so called collection. What a cheap a$s.

I have never seen The Hills and don’t know anything about this girl except what is in front of me in the picture shown. My take? Boring and tawdry.

And I’d like to add that one of the reasons it is so hard for me to tell one of these recent TV “stars” from another–based solely on seeing them in pictures–is that they look more and more alike. Same plastic surgery (nose and/or boobs) and dental work; same color hair in nearly identical styles. Same bauble-of-the-week. Same practiced smile. Same practiced “feet crossed at the ankles” stance for the camera. Yawn.

I recently saw a picture of one of the Olsen twins laughing and I didn’t know who she was because both of them ALWAYS have the same practiced pout for the cameras. All either of them would have to do to avoid the paparazzi is smile–no one would recognize them.

I would absolutely buy her clothes…if I wanted to look like a prostitute or a fake blonde bimbo, just like she is. She needs to get over herself…I don’t see what she likes so much about herself, and apparently, I’m not the only one. Use your “fame” to help other people, Heidi, and not just to benefit yourself. Your 15 minutes of “fame” were over last year.

I agree with most of you, the line is not so good. The outfit that she models is too much skin, too high heels and too much “out there”. So no I wouldn’t buy her line but I wouldn’t buy Lauren’s line either. At least these clothes are not that overpriced. Anyway, I think Heidi seems like a sweet girl but she needs to get rid of that loser boyfriend :D

I think it’s funny how the fashion world has turned into a reality-star/celebrity clad circus.
Anyone & everyone with a name from having a sex-tape video to being on a scripted “reality” show is just trying to make some money by saying they have a “fashion line” Many of these so-called designers have no fashion experience, never sewed a thing in their lives and are just looking for a way to keep their name in the press.
It’s sad to some effect especially when there are hardworking up n coming new designers & hard working classic designers out there still trying to show their stuff to the masses.
It’s just getting a little played out.
As far as both these Reality stars they’re lines are typical, uncreative & unoriginal styles that you can find anywhere from Old Navy to for Heidi’s line a surf store on Sunset strip. Of course she’ll sell because people are obsessed with all these train wrecks in the media!

Heidi has NOOO sense of style all ready–so why does she have a line?? No wonder the clothes are under 50$… they look like they should be 10$ at the most! the line has no sense of style. Lauren’s line is very chic and in style and Heidi is just trying to compete with her. Also, why in the world would she model her own clothes? She is insanely sel-obsessed.

Obviously her clothing line is not as good as Lauren’s line, but I think Heidi mainly just wants to use every outlet she can while she is still famous. She might not even like her own clothing line, but just created one because she had the opportunity to. I think Heidi’s main focus with everything she is doing, whether it is good or not, (like her singing) is to keep her name in the media spotlight.

Doesn’t Hedi read all this–I mean I would sit back and be like wow I’m stupid–I messed up my friendship with Lauren and I let being a TV star go to my stupid head. What she did with her face is bad–it’s completly different. Look at her from one season to the next–can’t wait to see season III. She probably will have an ear job.
