Heidi Montag Hits the Runway for Her Heidiwood Line

Matt Sayles/AP

With blogger Perez Hilton at the mike and on-again, off-again fiance Spencer Pratt in the audience, Heidi Montag did her best catwalk strut for the debut runway show of her Heidiwood for Anchor Blue line. And the reality star felt more than at home on the catwalk, telling PEOPLE “I feel so good and it’s so fun to be up there [on the runway], and it was just an amazing night and everything really came together so this is just such an awesome night.” As for her designs, Montag admits a weakness for “zebra print. I’m obsessed with it, and when I was doing my line, I was doing things that inspired me and things that I wish I could find in clothes. So I was like I love zebra print. There’s not enough out there, and so I really wanted to incorporate that in little details.” But don’t count the budding designer out of future acting gigs. “I’d love to play Sydney Bristow on Alias. That’s my ideal role, like badass, that’s what I want to do, like Angelina Jolie roles.” Click here to shop Heidi’s line, all for under $50. Tell us: Will you buy Heidi’s designs?

She’s ridiculous! She’s just trying to be Lauren, but LC’s clothing line is soooooo more sofisticated. Even BRAZILIANS hate Heidi!

Looks cheap and trashy…just like Heidi. how could someone who comes from what seems like a great family with very down to earth good parents end up like her? and spencer, don’t even get me started.

Hedi has an adorable figure. i am sure masculine males are impressed. as for me, michael boyle ,i would love to have her figure being that i am a tranny. i love all things girly, dresses, pantyhose, minis, shoes, and goodlooking guys. mjjmb@optonline.net

For Ana:

Of course no one else has the money. When you’re a spoiled trust fund baby a lot gets handed to you. If she had been you, do you think you’d have your own line right now? Of course not. Just because everyone knows your name and you have the money doesn’t mean you have the talent. Do not give me the cock and bull story that she works hard. No she points to actual designers and they do all the hard work. She just says “yay” or “nay” to their drawings and the mock up sewing outfits. If she sat down and did everything from scratch, got a business loan and then landed herself a runway gig I’d be impressed.

I have never seen The Hills and don’t know anything about this girl except what is in front of me in the picture shown. My take? Boring and tawdry.

And I’d like to add that one of the reasons it is so hard for me to tell one of these recent TV “stars” from another–based solely on seeing them in pictures–is that they look more and more alike. Same plastic surgery (nose and/or boobs) and dental work; same color hair in nearly identical styles. Same bauble-of-the-week. Same practiced smile. Same practiced “feet crossed at the ankles” stance for the camera. Yawn.

I recently saw a picture of one of the Olsen twins laughing and I didn’t know who she was because both of them ALWAYS have the same practiced pout for the cameras. All either of them would have to do to avoid the paparazzi is smile–no one would recognize them.

Alexandra

If what she’s created is actually considered “fashion” I’ll eat my shoe. She’s created a line of clothes for hookers.

Pamela

I would absolutely buy her clothes…if I wanted to look like a prostitute or a fake blonde bimbo, just like she is. She needs to get over herself…I don’t see what she likes so much about herself, and apparently, I’m not the only one. Use your “fame” to help other people, Heidi, and not just to benefit yourself. Your 15 minutes of “fame” were over last year.

Connie

The best thing about this whole thing is the interactive website! You can click on tops and bottoms and see how they look together. Not that it would take a whole of imagination to do that anyway. But its a cool feature for website. Nothing special about the clothes. While I don’t fault her for trying to find her niche and make a success of herself I think it tacky that she is the model. I would be more impressed if she had hired models and kept her personal image in the background. I think she would be taken more seriously if she would stop trying to pass herself off as a “star” and more talented in that way than she really is.

Kate

I agree with most of you, the line is not so good. The outfit that she models is too much skin, too high heels and too much “out there”. So no I wouldn’t buy her line but I wouldn’t buy Lauren’s line either. At least these clothes are not that overpriced. Anyway, I think Heidi seems like a sweet girl but she needs to get rid of that loser boyfriend :D

Sandra, CA

NO way on earth I will buy anything coming from that girl..she always looks trashy, acts trashy and talks trashy…so her clothes, which are NOT cute remind me of that. Those short shorts are nothing but encouraging little girls to go half naked like she does……Ugh!
