Heidi Montag Hits the Runway for Her Heidiwood Line

With blogger Perez Hilton at the mike and on-again, off-again fiance Spencer Pratt in the audience, Heidi Montag did her best catwalk strut for the debut runway show of her Heidiwood for Anchor Blue line. And the reality star felt more than at home on the catwalk, telling PEOPLE “I feel so good and it’s so fun to be up there [on the runway], and it was just an amazing night and everything really came together so this is just such an awesome night.” As for her designs, Montag admits a weakness for “zebra print. I’m obsessed with it, and when I was doing my line, I was doing things that inspired me and things that I wish I could find in clothes. So I was like I love zebra print. There’s not enough out there, and so I really wanted to incorporate that in little details.” But don’t count the budding designer out of future acting gigs. “I’d love to play Sydney Bristow on Alias. The entire line is tawdry. Why would I spend money on this line when I get spend the same amount and get better quality clothes at H&M, Target or Old Navy?

Another no-talent mess! In response to the last comment…..just because most people hate Heidi does not mean they are “jealous”. It takes a moron not to realize she is simply ugly, fake and just happened to be in the right place, the right time. There are so many talented/beautiful people to admire, and Heidi is absolutely disgusting and pathetic. That isn’t “jealousy” talking, it is just plain fact.

I am so sick of these celebrity-hacks being designer wannabes!! Her clothes are ugly and uninspired and it makes me mad that talented, hard-working, creative DESIGNERS, don’t get the same chance to show their WORK.

Smith’s comment is a little harsh and catty to me, her choice of hair dye and breast implants really have no revelence to her clothing line…someone sounds a little jealous to me. Anyway, in reagrds to her clothing line, I do think that Heidi is trying her hand at different trades and has become somewhat over-exposed as a result, but really….don’t buy the clothes if you don’t like them. It seems like she’s trying to find different ways to stay in the spotlight and at least she’s not in jail, having Spencer’s baby or in rehab while she’s trying to find herself. I say cut her some slack.

Okay usually I wouldn’t comment on something like this,Buy I must agree with ANA, the girl above me..Heidis collection is something I would prob never buy, but on the other hand I do think you girls are a bit jealous!I really see nothing wrong with her line,her stuff is affordable, and a lot of you are basing your opinion about her from the Hills..Anyways all of you jealous girls should cheer up and find something better to do instead of hating on someone else for trying to fulfill their dreams..

I think her line is a boring as the next. It showcases booty shorts and tiny tanks! If you call paying that kind of money for such a small amount of clothing a deal, well then it’s probably the right line for you!

How is this even a “Fashion line”? It is like 5 shirts and 5 bottoms that look like something you could find at K-mart or elsewhere and a lot of cheap looking jewelry. That is all based on an opinion formed WITHOUT taking the creater into account! These are not stand out signature pieces! They are at best cheap shorts and tanks you would wear to the beach. Maybe I am overly critical….

I am not a big fan of Hiedi but the line is ok, yes it is stuff you can buy at H&M or Old Navy but is’nt that what she was aiming for to compete with those types of lines. Yes, she does need to be a little more unique in her line so it will be better then those stores but it’s Heidi for god sake there is nothing unique about her she is that same dumb blonde type trying to get her 15 minutes of fame, and she doing it so good for her. She wont be there for long because once the Hills is off the air or they get tired of putting her on the show and riding Laurens coat tails her 15 minutes will be up!
