Kate Hudson's Blue Highlights! Love 'Em or Hate 'Em?

04/09/2008 at 06:00 AM ET

Ramey

We envy Kate Hudson’s perfect California golden locks, so when we spotted bright blue highlights in her hair on the set of the new movie Bride Wars we just couldn’t believe our eyes! Luckily, it’s just a wig she is donning for her character — could it be the “something blue” for the film’s wedding day scene? Kate and co-star Anne Hathaway seem to be having loads of fun on the set of the new comedy, so we can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us. Tell us: Are blue highlights something Kate should try out in real life? What do you think about the look on her?

She looks like an oopmaloompa…so sad really.

it just doesn’t suit her… she’s not the type of personality who can pull this kind of colour…

I peronally disagree with the blue highlighted wig it looks out of place. She looks like a punk and should not try this look out in real life. I no its for a movie but its a bit drastic.

It looks like somebody plopped that wig on her head from a 25-story building. I’m just happy that’s for a role; she already has her son’s messed up hair to worry about without adding hers to the mix.

EWWWWWWW is right!!
It is tacky, but if that is the look she was going for then she achieved her desired objective for sure.

For what she is getting paid to do that movie, I’ll wear whatever colored wig they want me to wear.

They look cute and fun, but dare I say – I think she’s a little bit too old to try this look out in real life.

I adore her wig. When i decide being like a girl . i always put on wigs. i am going to get her color and style. i feel a wig completes me. it gives me complete transformation from girlyboy to a complete female.

I saw a picture of Kate with her son on your website- I think it was up on April 2. She was wearing a red plaid shirt and I was just wondering if you guys knew where I could get it.

Thanks!
