Patrick Dempsey’s Newest Role: Face of Avon

Avon has just announced that Patrick Dempsey will partner with them to launch a new men’s fragrance set in November — the Grey’s Anatomy star’s first. The actor joins Reese Witherspoon as the faces of the venerable brand. And he’s keeping it all in the family — Dempsey’s wife, makeup artist Jillian Dempsey, has been Avon’s global creative color director since July 2006. I’d TRY anything that Patrick Dempsey thought smelled good. He’s an amazing actor and seems like an all around good guy. He’s (almost) as handsome as my husband!

Patrick and Jillian, Reese please do not do this. It will wreck all of your future opinions of anything. Why not go to the No. 1 selling brand for the last 14 years, Mary Kay. Mary Kay Corp. doesn’t sell anything and doesn’t make anything that is not going to be the No. 1 seller. They will not put anything out there unless it will beat the No. 1 at that time. Avon???? You all cannot be serious about this. Please rethink what you are doing. God Bless
