I was 14 and on a family holiday at the seaside (we live a long way inland). My 13yo brother and I went to the beach 1 day while Mum & Dad did something else.
I went swimming, got knocked over by a wave, and my bikini top came off. I didn't realise straight away but when I did I frantically looked for it but couldn't find it. I eventually called my brother to help (feeling really embarrassed) but he could not find it either. Neither of us had a shirt with us, so I sat on the beach with my hands providing the best possible privacy for a while, and watched my brother have fun surfing.
I had noticed that there were some other girls on the beach who were sunbathing topless. So after a while I decided to just go topless. Once my brother had seen me for a while I didn't really care any more, and no one else knew who I was.
Mum got quite a shock when she picked us up in the afternoon though :)

Once, my husband and I were at the Jersey shore and we were playing in the waves. His swimming trunks were still wet from the night before, so he'd chosen to wear an older pair. I was wearing a typical triangle top. We got hit by a couple of strong waves and one of the waves ripped his swimming trunks open. As I was pointing this out to him, a second wave blew my top off. We're generally comfortable with nudity on beaches, but we felt really bad because there were so many kids playing in the water around us!

Well, many, many years ago, I was wearing a two piece suit. The top had almost "cardboard" like cups. I was laying on the beach thinking I was Oh so cool, when I looked and one of the "cups" had completely caved in, what a sight that was, I think I basically "crawled" off the beach!

all I can say is AMATEURS.

Gee and little butt cheek or nipple peek, not a big deal. Nah, for true embarassment, try a bathing suit bottom with an, ahem, string exposed.

One time I was at a river in Mississippi and we were playing frisbee in the water when I dove for an especially long throw. The impact of the water knocked my top off and worse yet, my stone-washed jean shorts came unbuttoned and my underwear quickly became see-thru. To this day boyfriend's buddies always ask if I want to play fridbee whenever they see me.

Well, it was the last class event of grade 8. We were all going swimming before we split up for the summer. I had been padding my AA bra all year, as I was miles behind my classmates in that area. But how to pad a swimsuit that was still a single, flat piece of fabric? Baggies, of course! I stuffed a couple with nylons, tied off the baggies and pinned the leftover baggie plastic to the seams. Only problem: I was an impossible show-off, and decided to make my entrance by diving in. Oops. There I was on the bottom of the pool, with my baggies floating on the surface. Good thing we moved away that summer...

I was at a water park and decided to brave the huge slide that comes down at nearly a 90 degree angle. The force of the slide was so fierce and shove my one-piece suit bottom so far up my rear that it tore open between the legs and the next thing I knew, I was flashing everything, including boobs, to the world! I was mortified, not to mention banned from that water park.

I was vacationing in Greece, and was swimming in the Aegean Sea with my boyfriend, when he coyly untied my string bikini top. Luckily, in Greece, lots of women go swimming or sunbathe topless, so the women nearby looked at me like I was nuts as I yelled at my boyfriend. But I was still mortified.

I went down a water slide in a two piece and my bottoms SO flew off. Luckily I noticed and grabbed them before anyone else noticed and put them back on in the water.. but that could have been BAD!

I was on my honeymoon in Hawaii and got hit by a particularly big wave. It knocked me over and sent me towards the beach. I threw my hands up to protect my head and when I sat up on the sand I saw that my bottoms were pretty low at the front. I looked at my husband and waved as I pulled them up. Then I looked down again and realized my top was far below where it was supposed to be. I had been sitting like that for 30 seconds or so and didn't even notice. Thank goodness the beach wasn't very crowded that day.

I was sitting at the edge of the water letting the waves hit me at a beach this summer, when a HUGE one came and slapped right at me...the wave didn't do anything, but the undercurrent grabbed me and pulled me out into the ocean, by dragging me along the floor. When I finally got out of the current, I stood up, only to realize that while I was dragging along the sand, my bottoms were pulling down. So when I stood up, they were floating next to me, and I was naked in front of a beach of people!!!

I was on a church camping trip with a group of young adults and we were out cliff jumping. After you jumped off the cliff and into the water the boat would come pick you up. I was a little scared so I decided to go last after about 7 other men and women had gone before me. I jumped off the cliff and as I came to the surface everyone in the boat had shocked looks on their faces. Apparently the force of the water had ripped my entire swimming suit off and I was completely naked. I never found my swimming suit and I had to ride back to camp in a towel with a bunch of embarrassed Christians looking the other way.
