First Lauren Conrad launched her successful clothing line and Heidi Montag announced her upcoming Heidiwood collection — and now Whitney Port is joining the design fray. The former Teen Vogue intern’s contemporary clothing line, co-designed with pal Adrienne Baravetto, will launch this fall in upscale boutiques like Planet Blue. The 17-piece collection will feature a lot of navy, pink, multi-colored jackets, tie-dye and sparkly dresses that will retail from approximately $100-$500. Sounds like Whitney’s line is perfect for a night out at a L.A. hotspot or working at her other new gig, the public relations powerhouse People’s Revolution.

To everyone saying that Whitney is only doing this because Lauren is so successful:
Whitney attended fashion school and met Lauren while interning at Teen Vogue. Obviously she already wanted to become a designer long before she met Lauren.
