I am a fan of JC as much as the next person, but I just looked at all her collections and they all look the same. It’s like she created a dress then chopped that in half to creat a top. I know you like draping in all, but come on show some versitility will ya.

I loved the old underdog feel of Lauren, and when she got her own show I was really happy because I’m like she’s in LA she will get crazy and live a little. I’m sad to say Lauren is a stiffy and wears cute things but she is soooooooooooooo plain. I don’t understand who would want to invest in Lauren’s “closet” because that’s what she is selling, the clothes out her closet!. The most plain clothes I have ever seen. Lauren, go to a paint store and see that other colors are on the color spectrum and ooo you can mix them and put them with other colors!

Her style is AWFUL. I do like the Audrina dress, but I can probably find something just as cute at Forever21 with the same style and a fraction of the cost… and I don’t even like the “hobo” look! If Heidi is coming out with a line, I hope she reads these remarks on Lauren’s line and decides to take a different approach… I don’t mind spending $$$ but her crap isn’t even runway material.

I too agree she should stick to buying clothes. The Audrina dress however is very cute, but it looks like something Forever21 would have designed… and they are a LOT less expensive.

First of all, Best of luck to you LC you deserve nothing but the best…I love watching “The Hills” I believe that you are a deserving individual that has tried to be true to yourself and strived for what you want and have gotten there. The clothes are cute, but not very original. I can’t really see them as fitting (no pun intended) for a runway show, as I associate shows with more creativity. Reminds me of the C+C California line, which as far as I’m aware, does not have runway shows.

Bottom line: Cute, basic clothes that look better accessorized. Better suited for online sales and the like.

I’m not fond of Lauren, or of her show. That being said, there is nothing really wrong with her clothing line, except it is overpriced and many of the clothes look similar to what I can find at any store for a much cheaper price. If they were in my price range, I might buy one or two of her tops, but not endorse in her entire line.
As to those who have said that she is not classy, I sort of agree. What I think is that her hair and makeup can look classy, and her clothingcan very occasionally, but she always appears slouchy. Not just her posture, but also her clothes.
I’d like to add that I am 17 and this is my opinion, so saying it is a line only teenagers would buy is insulting.

I just went to her website. Some of the clothes are ok I think I saw maybe two tops I liked but the prices are crazy! $94 for a top is nuts!

I think she is charging a little too much for basic pieces in the same basic materials. None of her designs are unique or fashion forward at all! I can put that $100+ towards a better name in the fashion industry.

Oh good, so she’s designing new garbage sacks? What on earth is she holding up? The newest drapery meant to disguise the anorexic frames of wannabes? Pfft.

At least she admits she wouldn’t be where she is had MTV not rubbed her and her airhead friends onto our TV screens. If she can do it surely the rest of us can… how hard is something like that to design? Not very.
