The Hole In The Wall Gang is a project of Paul Newman’s charities. Mr. Newman and Mr. Bolton both reside in the same town in CT. Both run charitable organizations (www.MichaelBoltonCharities.com) and have collaborated on charitable events a couple of times before over the past 15 years or so. I can’t claim to know how Michael and his fiancee were approached to participate in this particular venture but there is a history between the two men.

The picture itself doesn’t have anything to do with the charity unless you choose to read some sort of “sheltering” message into it. It’s an art shot meant to stand out in fashion magazines full of ads, get your attention in hopes you will then go to the charity website listed in the text…which presumably will stand out more in a full page magazine ad than it does online.
