Imitation of Christ’s Tara Subkoff Designs For Bebe

Astrid Stawiarz/Getty

The co-founder and creative force behind Imitation of Christ has just become the first designer to lend her talent exclusively to Bebe. Tara Subkoff has long admired the sexy, super confident style Bebe has instilled in its shoppers. “The collection we’ve created is perfect for the modern woman who wants wearable, sensual clothes versatile enough to take her from her office to cocktails and dinner,” says Subkoff. The mostly black, white and red items are accented with a sweet ‘heart’ print with a ’80s meets ’40s feeling — feminine yet strong, with a touch of whimsy. Long-time IOC fan and collaborator Chloe Sevigny already has sported some of Tara Subkoff’s Bebe items like this adorable ruffled wrap dress, $119. Items range from $79- $150. Take a look at the whole collection and read more about Tara Subkoff at Bebe.com. We can’t wait to get our hands on this collection. Tell us: Will you buy Tara Subkoff’s designs for Bebe?

Get the Look: Zoe Saldana’s Smoky Eyes

Jim Spellman/WireImage

Zoe Saldana smoldered at the New York City premiere of her new movie Vantage Point thanks to smoky eyes created by makeup artist Nick Barose. Barose layered M.A.C Paint cream shadow in Magrittes, $17, over Clarins Single Eye Shadow in Black, $20, to “evoke a feeling of the 70s Studio 54 Glam Era.” For extra drama, he smudged Clarins Pencil in Black, $22, and Max Factor Lash Perfection Mascara in Rich Black, $6 . He added a bit of a flush and glow to her face with Nars The Multiple in Orgasm, $37, and Scott Barnes Bronzing Powder in Nonchalant, $33. To keep the focus on the eyes, Barose picked a lipstick shade that matched Zoe’s own lip color, Shiseido Lip Gloss in Mocha Glaze, $21. From any vantage point, Zoe appears totally gorgeous.
