Beyonce’s New Grammy ‘Do: Love It or Hate it?

The singer turned up for the Grammy Awards with a short and soft do to go with her sparkling Elie Saab couture gown. Beyonce ditched her usual big hair and darker locks for a more natural glow. Her hairstylist Kimberly Kimble tells PEOPLE “It was Debbie Harry meets Beyonce tonight. We wanted to do something different for her performance with Tina Turner, so I gave her an A-line cut, a bit shorter in the back, longer in the front. I kept it darker in the back and framed her face with thicker cool blonde highlights.” We’re hoping that Beyonce keeps this look long past the Grammy Awards — we’re loving it. The cut is okay, but the color is horrible. It makes her look (no offense, I’m a longtime fan) kind of dingy! I’ve seen her with way better hairstyles.
