Beyonce’s New Grammy ‘Do: Love It or Hate it?

Lester Cohen/WireImage

The singer turned up for the Grammy Awards with a short and soft do to go with her sparkling Elie Saab couture gown. Beyonce ditched her usual big hair and darker locks for a more natural glow. Her hairstylist Kimberly Kimble tells PEOPLE “It was Debbie Harry meets Beyonce tonight. We wanted to do something different for her performance with Tina Turner, so I gave her an A-line cut, a bit shorter in the back, longer in the front. I kept it darker in the back and framed her face with thicker cool blonde highlights.” We’re hoping that Beyonce keeps this look long past the Grammy Awards — we’re loving it. Tell us: Do you like Beyonce’s new soft look? Should she keep it?

I love this new cut! It feels more relaxed than her longer hair, and the length isn’t too short either (:

petra

I definitely love it!

Rachel

I looks alright but I like her better with extensions though.

Tiffany

How many shades of blonde weave has Beyonce worn before? I wouldn’t hardly call this fresh or new. Until she pulls off something TOTALLY different…yawn

ninuka

hate everything about Beyonce

lil red

hey i think that her dress was very cute and that who every does her dresses needs to keep doing them that is what i would love to wear to my ball this year

kasia

this is the best she has looked in a long time. i love it. and this dress is really flattering- glimmering clothes are the way to go for bee

Alex

She looked absolutely beautiful! I love her hair with more blonde in it and the cut is gorgeous on her!

Elle

The cut is okay, but the color is horrible. It makes her look (no offense, I’m a longtime fan) kind of dingy! I’ve seen her with way better hairstyles.

Heather

I love it, I was starting to lose interest in Beyonce but this look brought me back!
