Luke Wilson Takes Swing at Designing

When you think of Luke Wilson, fashion designer probably isn’t the first thing that jumps to mind, but thanks to a partnership with PUMA, that’s exactly what the actor has become. PEOPLE caught up with the youngest Wilson brother on the Robinson Ranch Golf Club in Santa Clarita, Calif. where he dished about his new line of modern golf apparel. “It just seemed fun,” he explains of his new venture. “I play a ton of golf.” And while he’s definitely got some skill, Wilson’s not exactly a scratch golfer. “I kinda want to blend in when I play–due to my game,” he laughs. Blending in is also the theme of his collection, which features understated styles that banish those vivid hues and bold patterns golfers traditionally sport. “That’s the one thing that I said to them when I was designing,” he emphasizes. “I don’t want people to say, ‘Where does he get off thinking that he can wear that color?!’ I just want to have very muted tones.” And soon you can get a grip on Luke’s stylish designs — his PUMA golf polos, shoes, caps and other apparel, for both men and women, will be available in May at select golf stores and puma.com.

Project Runway: Chris’s Hirsute Couture Sends Him Packing

Mitch Haaseth/NBC; Barbara Nitke /NBC

Last night’s Project Runway offered a little something for everybody: A dramatic elimination; warm and fuzzy visits between Tim Gunn and the contestants’ family and friends; and one hilarious animal analogy. But first, the elimination: Chris and Rami each had one more chance to prove to the judges that they deserved to show at Bryant Park. After presenting three looks from their full collections– all of them dark– the judges sent Chris home (again), though not without praising him for his intricate and creative vision– even if it was over-the-top. Rami passed through to the final three after displaying some versatility– something the judges thought was lacking in his previous designs. Taking it all in stride, Chris packed up and exited with one big belly-laugh. But that’s not all, click over to our TV Watch page to check out everything that went down on last night’s episode.

Mariah-O-Meter: Rate Her TRL Look!

Dara Kushner/INF

From wearing bling on the beach to stilettos in the snow, Mariah Carey never gives up her glam. For a recent appearance on TRL, Mimi dressed down in Miss Sixty skinny jeans, a Galliano graphic red tank and patent puffer coat–but in classic diva style she added sexy, strappy red wedge heels by Azzedine Alaia. Her past shoe choices have convinced us that Mariah is an expert in walking in towering heels, but these wedges seem especially treacherous. Flat boots or even just a lower wedge would have been our choice. But we want to know what do you think. Tell us: On a scale of one to ten, how would you rate Mariah’s TRL look?
