would the mistake made by the purchasers not be corrected by the purchasers? whoever put the stock into mommy’s greedy little hands should have to legally pull it back and then put it into daughters greedy little hands. its all paperwork and the drama of suing your mama is so over the top. someone has “issues” and it aint about money.

Let’s face it, sometimes – Mothers are wrong. They are not always right.

I hate to say it, but Mothers can be jealous of their daughters. I know, I have first hand experience and it saddens me to even type it.

I agree with Daniela. I think you should let your own mother steal from you and walk all over you. Definitely. And it’s so disrespectful to ask your theif-of-a-mother to put it in a trust for her granddaughter’s future. The Good Book says Honor thy mother and thy father, but doesn’t say to let yourself get walked on.

Daniela, what a dumb comment. Wanting your daughter to have half of what you are entitled to is not disrespectful. They both started the company and they both deserve the same amount. What is disrespectful is a mother trying to steal $5 million from her granddaughter.

It’s curious why people seem to think that being a parent is a get out of jail free card to do anything. Respect is earned. If my mother essentially stole money from my children I would take all legal action neccessary to get it back. Further more, I didn’t hear any mention of giving the actual 5yr old 5million dollars and lets face it; that is a large sum of money, but in 13yrs, when the child is 18 it won’t be nearly as much as it is today. We all would love to save for our children’s future. If we could set aside 5million, would we not?

That’s just crazy that the Mom thinks she can keep money that was given to her in error when there’s obviously going to be legal contracts from the original sale that say it belongs to the daughter. It’s unfortunate the Mom picked money over her family — her priorities are messed up, imo.

Mother or not her mother, they were business partners, and in a situation like this they must treat it each other as though they are not family. If she has a legal right to that money, her mother should give it back. And if she wants to give it to her daughter thats her business.
Case in point its not such a good idea to go into business with family. Feelings are too strong, and bad judgement calls are made.

I swear these Hollywood socialites are ridiculous. Is this lady not satisfied with the millions she already has? And I’m sure her daughter is already well set off for her future. This is just another example of how greed works its way into ones personal life when you have to sue your own mother. I hope she loses her lawsuit.
