If the shoes are vegan, from what matterial are they made? I can’t find it anywhere on the website. I’m skeptical about whether a synthetic material, possibly made from a boat load of petrochemicals, would be any better for the environment than chemically treated leather.

As much as I love animals, I could never wear faux leather shoes simply because I am allergic to anything synthetic. And come on, who would pay $300?

I think that Natalie’s endorsement of these cruelty free shoes is inspiring to at least someone, and that one person made it worth it. I too am a vegetarian and while I can by no means afford these shoes, some eco friendly person somewhere can.

I love them- I think they are adorable and very chic. I also think it’s great when celebrities endorse organic/ vegan products. Whether you’re buying faux leather at Target or Te Casan, you’re supporting the new eco trend. It’s about time taking care of the environment became chic.

Ok why are we supposed to pay $300 for faux patent leather shoes that are identical to $29.99 faux patent leather shoes at Target? So I can wear her name on my feet? No thanks.

Another celebrity “designer”. Yawn. At this point I purposefully do not buy celebrity “designed” items. My one exception may be Sarah Jessica Parker stuff – but so far I haven’t gone after any of it.
