Amy Winehouse Goes Platinum! Love It or Hate It?

It’s been months since Amy Winehouse‘s album Back to Black went platinum, and now the singer’s followed suit, trading in her signature dark locks for this new blonde do, which she’s been showing off around London. And while the past 12 months have been filled with surprising events in the singer’s life, including a secret Miami wedding, a suspected stint in rehab, and the arrests of both herself and her new husband, Amy’s new look may have shocked us most of all. But we want to know what you think. Tell us: Should Amy get her hair back to black, or do you think the new do lightens up her look?

I feel for her. She is a very pretty girl if she gets rid of her makeup and gains a little bit of weight. She is a good singer despite what everyone is saying, very talented. The husband has to go and then maybe she can get herself back on track.

I’ve NEVER seen a flattering picture of this woman. “Heroin chic” was supposed to be cool back in 80s, but even those models didn’t look like they walked out of the morgue.

Her blonde hair looks riduculous. She needs to go to rehab. She’s sorry mess.

I love Amy! But, this blonde does not suit her. I love the beehive, it’s her trademark. She’s a beautiful girl, just has a different look. Thank God she’s not cookie cutter beautiful like every other celebrity. She’s different and that’s why I love her.

She will need to pray for some big miracles in her life!!!! specially the possiblity of losing her hair completely since doing bleach in such dark hair and not doing a properly eating habit will be the outcome to make her going bald (well Britney went for that look for sure her hair was falling in pieces so she went drastic!!!)I hope that this girl might find a new meaning in her life and take more understanding of the value of her existance….

She seems to have a good complexion even though she smokes , boozes and does all the drugs. “Different” sells CD’s and gets you on Mag covers…..this is all planned!

you people who are commenting on her appearance in such mean and judgemental ways should step back and take a look at her. she is an amazaingly talented singer, for those of you who disagree the music industry, critics, as well as fans think otherwise. she is also spiralling out of control due to her addiction. that is not a nice place to be in, and to have it splashed all over the media and to be judged by your hair when you are living such insanity? i feel for her, i know what it is like to be so out of control. we should be sending her positive thoughts and hoping the best for her instead of making ourselves feel better by blasing her hair or appearance.

this is NOT a flattering style at all. i saw pics of her from 3-4 years ago, and she was beautiful! no beehive, no ridiculously hideous make-up, and she looked healthy. she’s actually quite beautiful if you took away about 4 years from her.
