Amy Winehouse Goes Platinum! Love It or Hate It?

It’s been months since Amy Winehouse’s album Back to Black went platinum, and now the singer’s followed suit, trading in her signature dark locks for this new blonde do, which she’s been showing off around London. And while the past 12 months have been filled with surprising events in the singer’s life, including a secret Miami wedding, a suspected stint in rehab, and the arrests of both herself and her new husband, Amy’s new look may have shocked us most of all. But we want to know what you think. Tell us: Should Amy get her hair back to black, or do you think the new do lightens up her look?

I don’t even know where to begin… This “thing” that we’re forced to see on People, is just so hideous I can’t wrap my head around it! She sucks as a singer, and she looks like she is going to seriously OD anytime now! She’s like one inch in width and like six feet with that STUPID NOW BLONDE fake hair she carries. I never knew someone could be soo ugly, and worthless. That’s what she made of herself and her life, a worthless piece-of-something. I don’t know whose more messed up, Britney or her!!! Go fix yourselves please! And People should actually stop showing these low lives, and start showing people that actually matter and are somewhat normal!!!! Gosh!!!!

She should go to a medium or dark brown and lose the beehive and heavy liner. She could be cute( not gorgeous,but cute)if she softened up her look some.

She shouldn’t make any major style decision until she get clean. She needs to gain about 20lbs and stop walking aroung in just her bra before she does anything else. She actually used to be pretty curvy.

she’s nuts…she is a freak…she should wash her hair and comb it…I really don’t care about the color….I never knew someone could be soo ugly, my god she’s horrible so skinny and so tiny…I really think she needs REHAB !!!! she has to get rid of the heavy makeup she looks like a drug addict CLOWN !!!!

Just when I thought this woman couldn’t get any uglier, she ups and surprises me. Geez….it’s a shame someone can’t convince her that wearing a paper bag on her head is the best thing she can do at this point.

You know what? I think if Amy Winehouse wants to go platinum, then she should just friggin’ go platinum! We all love a change, a pick-me-up and God knows Amy needs one. Maybe this change is a start–anything to get this girl focused on her sobriety and the wonderful life she is missing because of her addiction.

I’m a singer, and I love Amy’s sound, and believe her to be immensely talented. If she’s going to heal, she needs to make a change; if that starts with her hair, great. Small steps, people, small steps. STOP BEING SO MEAN.

The only good thing I can say about this look is the fact it finally resembles something (anything) from this century…as opposed to the mash up of a bee-hive she had before..But I do agree with the others…she could not have possibly made herself look anymore ugly…at least now at rock bottom pitifulness…..i hope she only starts going up again
