I do agree with Mr. Blackwell that Victoria Beckham’s sense of style is quite radical, but not entirely, being that I’m a huge SPICE GIRLS fan; and just last month had the pleasure of seeing Posh Spice—along with Scary, Sporty, Baby and Ginger—perform live at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, as part of their mega-reunion world tour. As for the other ladies who made his worst dressed list, the majority of them are in dire need of improvement when it comes to their sense of style and fashion!!!

I think it all depends on who’s looking for sure. I can understand why a critic thinks the way he/she does in creating this list. The people on the best dressed list look sophisticated, well-rounded, responsible, and classy at all times. Notice, many of them are moms, have big things to think about outside of Hollywood, and work very hard to create good public opinion about themselves. The people on the worst-dressed list tend to use alternative, clashy, unsophisticated looks, unique styles, and controversial styles to say the least. It is certainly a personal choice, I don’t dress anything like either group, mostly cause I couldn’t afford to even if I wanted to. I personally don’t think Posh is the worst dressed necessarily by pure clothing choices, I just think she tends to forget she’s an adult with 3 kids and a whole lot of teenie bopper girls still looking up to her. Come on, it’s about time to start taking care of yourself and presenting yourself well for the sake of your boys if for nothing else. Seriously. And if you ask me the worse problem is the fact that we encourage these people to get away with spending thousands of dollars on ONE ITEM of clothing that they wear ONCE! And you want to tell me that any of them care about starving, impoverished, enslaved, suffering people in this world? Yea, right.

Ok so my response to his list!

I agree with him and so many of you Posh has made an awful lot of fashion blunders over the last year. She can look amazing sometimes, the vintage Oscar de la Renta shift dress she wore during New York fashion week was amazing but at the same time what she wore to the Glamour awards(in the photo above) was hideous! Her boobs wreck most of her outfits.

Personally i kind of like Amy Winehoues’s style…it’s very unique and i think it suits her.

I love the Olsens in general and i think Mary Kate can dress really well sometimes. I do prefer ashley’s style though.

The rest of the worst dressed list is spot on. The odd time Jessica Simpson can have a nice outfit.

Regarding the best dressed list, Reese Witherspoon imo is a totally boring dresser. I never really like her clothes.

Jemima Khan always dresses emmaculately. She’s one of the most glamorous women in the world w/o a doubt and she’d definitely feature in my list.

Beyonce imo looks trashy all the time. Have any of you seen her video “red light/green light? Ugh is all i can say. She’s so tacky.

I also don’t like Nicole Kidman’s and Cate Blanchets dress sense. It just doesn’t appeal to me.

The other’s on the best dressed list dress fine but nothing spectacular. For e.g Kate Middleton is very elegant and sophisticated looking but i never see one of her outfits and feel inspired by it. It fits her purpose i suppose.

I feel Mr.Blackwell has made a terrible mistake in placing Vistoria Beckham ( Posh spice) on the top of this list… yes i understand for men her fashion may seem odd and unflattering however to someone who truly understand seems and fashion and color she is very fashionable. Many feel Jean Paul Gauthier is terrible as well however we all know he is truly talented.

I completley disagree with Mr. Blackwells decision and feel that everyone who agrees should consider taking a socnd look, however everyone is entitiled to their own opinon.

What Posh does is completely different. She entertains and challenges through her extreme sensibilities, and controls her entire being in order to accomplish her vision. She’s a risk-taker, and failure comes with the territory. However, so does success. Girl snagged Becks, how bad can she be. She’s also innovative and intriguing in the way she pulls herself together. VB makes fashion a bit more interesting and you have to commend her for that. Blackwell is over. Go put a beaded dress on and crawl in your coffin you tired old queen.

I completely disagree! Victoria Beckham, Mary-Kate Olsen, and Lindsay Lohan are among my favorite to watch fashion-wise. Yeah they slip up sometimes, but it’s only because they are so trendy and actually take chances with their wardrobes. I think most of the ones on the best-dressed list, while possessing a nice, classic style, are boring!

I am surprised by some of his list – while I was pleased that he had the class to not further tear at the wounds afflicting Ms. Spears, I was bothered that he would bash someone like Victoria B. for not being afraid to stand outside the very small box of what he seems to consider appropriate. I think she’s an innovator in fashion and not afraid to dress in a way that’s fun and interesting. Not everything is a hit, but she always looks to be having a good time in whatever she’s wearing – isn’t that what fashion is supposed to be???

i do not understand how victoria beckham, with all her proximity to the high priests of style (D&G et. al.) can believe that her breast implants are displayed best to their advantage by smashing them with too-tight tops. it looks grotesque. especially because she’s so skeletal. she needs to spend some time looking at the women who defined style in the 70s–bianca jagger, marissa berenson, lauren hutton–and see how much sexier it looks when breasts are natural and clothes aren’t so self-consciously announcing themselves.

To say that Victoria is the worst dressed is not only accurate but refreshing. Since she made it onto Katie Holmes BFF list she has shown up everywhere, and usually earing something totally too young for her, unbecoming and way too revealing. I hope that here kids don;t have to put up with this type of hype too muchlonger or they will be sorely damamged for life.

I’m not so concerned with what she wears…. I don’t think this is what makes her unattractive. First and foremost, she never smiles in her pictures. I also think that if you look past her figure and her breasts, and her perfectly made up self…. she is not a very attractive women. Her nose resembles Ms. Piggy’s. I think she would be quite unattractive in the morning without anything on. Having said that, if she just smiled, she might show us an inner beauty that would make us forget that without money and hollywood, noone would look twice at her on the street.

Yes, she is a horrible dresser. Strange is not the same as good.
She used to be so adorable, but since she went blond her hair looks really thin. She looks malnourished. I think if she didn’t have the big fake boobs people would start showing more concern for her health.

Yes, I agree with Mr. Blackwell’s list and I think it’s nice that he left Ms. Spears alone. Posh Spice will never look good with those awful fake boobs of hers. They do not look natural and they are too big for her small body. Amy Winehouse always looks like she needs a good bath and some skin care. Mary Kate Olsen looks like an anorexic bag lady.
