You can wash cashmere in the washing machine if you tuck the item in a mesh bag. I use the delicate cycle and cold water and a very mild laundry soap. A shampoo with a neutral pH will work, too.

I LOVE cashmere – it’s so hot this year for some reason, and it’s being incorporated into blends for all types of sweaters and tops. What is it that makes it so popular this particular year?
