Is Miley Cyrus Taking Fashion Cues from Mariah Carey?

Mariah Carey is the ultimate sexy diva, while Miley Cyrus is the quintessential good girl. What do these two singing superstars have in common? Apparently, their taste in fashion! We saw Mariah step out in her clinging purple sweaterdress, cropped black jacket and black suede boots last month, only to spot the Hannah Montana star in a practically identical outfit in Toronto over the weekend. We love that Miley put her own sweet spin on the outfit, but we can’t help but giggle over how similar they are! Tell us: Who wears her purple dress better? Mariah or Miley?

At least Miley’s fits her. Mariah looks as though she were wrapped tightly in tinted cellophane. She really needs to start dressing for her age and body type.

I absolutely love Miley’s version. The different layers are so adorable and they seem to fit together well. It’s something I could see myself wearing– Mariah’s version seems more like something a biker would wear…

Miley Cyrus has always dressed maturely for her age. Most 15 year olds would never try to pull off a look like that but IMO, she does it well. I think it’s a coincidence that it’s so similar to Mariah Carey.

most definitely miley. the dress she’s wearing is a darker color purple than Mariahs, which i think is more flattering. Miley’s boots are cuter because they don’t come up to her knees. Mariah’s dress is too tight on her…she should’ve gotten it a little bit bigger. And also miley’s hair is REALLY cute.
