Lauren Conrad’s New Purse Collection!

With a clothing line under her belt, a whirlwind trip to Paris and her hit reality show The Hills extending its third season, Lauren Conrad somehow found the time to add something else to her resume. The fashion intern put her skills to use and created a handbag line for Linea Pelle, a celeb-favorite leather bag company. Lauren was already a Linea Pelle fan — she really loves her “Piper Speedy”. Lauren turned up at the PEOPLE hosted Grammy Award Kick-off party carrying the clutch she designed and her roommate Audrina has also been showing her support by carrying the LC tote all over town. I really like Lauren on the hills and all (Team LC)but 145.00 for that bag- NO WAY. At most it should be 54.00 at Boscov’s. Way too expensive, I’d spend money on a designer bag but not on an LC bag. Sorry

I agree with the other comments. Her whole clothing and bag line is way too expensive and there is nothing super unique about her styles- I’m sure I can find equally nice clothes and handbags and department store discount places like Marshalls and TJMaxx. Advice to LC- If you want your stuff to sell, cater to the price range of your fans!

The bags she design aren’ that provocative or endearing. Therefore I will not buy any bags from this collection. For this price, you can buy yourself a goodie Marc by MArc Jacob satchel.
