What Trends Are You Over?

LUIS GUERRA/RAMEY; Starsurf/Splash News

No matter how much we used to love it, sometimes seeing a look too many times (even on our fave celebs!) is enough to make us cringe. Our summer fling with colored frames is definitely finished. We were originally thrilled to see Wayfarers make a comeback, but by now, we’re a little tired of seeing red and white frames pop up on everyone from Sienna Miller and Mary-Kate Olsen to Drew Barrymore and Kirsten Dunst. It’s just too tough a look to work without a summer tan. But we want to know what you’re over! Tell us: What trend — fashion or otherwise — are you totally over and why?

I am very over the trapeze/mumu top thing. While it looks good on most celebs, it’s not very flattering on the everyday woman.

Leggings! And no, I’m not over skinny jeans…yet.

Sara on

Colored jeans!!! They didn’t look good in the 80’s, and they still don’t work.

I have these sunglasses, and I just love to wear them, its just so diferent from the other person!

Skinny jeans and leggings. So unflattering!

Clogs are so over! some people just do not get it and keep wearing them. ahhh major pet peeve!
put them away pull out the wedges and flats!

can the bang thing finally go away? who needs to relive 5th grade and then wait months to grow them out.

I love the wayfarers, but are they out of style? Or are the red/white ones out, because I wanted a pair of black ones, but now I’m not so sure.

Skinny Jeans!!! Omg!! I hate them, I don’t care if your toothpick legs could fit in them they are UGLY!!!! Oh, sorry girls leggings are not going yet! They’re very cute and very in!!!! (Forgot one: Uggs! The name almost matches: UGLY!!)

Jennifer on

Skinny jeans! Well skinny anything for that matter. And rediculas looking high heels, they are not practical.

I love skinny jeans… but I am wearing them with tall boots now. But I still think that they are hot…. so much more flattering than boot cut. I think that you just have to have the body for them. but I wish that the high-heeled booties would go! Ugly and they don’t look good on anyone-

I’m over the high waisted pants. Seeing Jessica Simpson and Mischa Barton sport some high waisted jeans a few months back made me cringe. I also hated the Wayfarers sunglasses trend too. Keep those in the 80’s! I could probably think of some more trends, but none are popping in my head right now.

On the sunglasses though, I still think the white frames are still in and can still be worn with or without it being Summer. As long as the sunglasses aren’t Wayfarers I’m fine with it, but I’ll still sport the white frames, along with the dark red, and black of course.

Skinny jeans started off as a trend, but I think they’ve become a norm, like regular jeans. there’s no way they’re going away.
leggings, yes. over.

I’m SO over leggings. It seems like the women of Hollywood don’t own a single pair of pants anymore. From Hilary Duff to Christina Aguilera the look has just been worn time and time again. Where are our style icons?! They all look the same!

I have a few words for these ladies-leave them at home. Leggings shouldn’t be worn anymore-they’re WORN OUT.

umm ok, no hating on the skinny jeans
i feel like they’re fine for people who can pull them off
just like any other trend.
i do agree it’s harder for larger people to pull them off, but still…they’re so cute!!

Colored Jeans are definitely out. They went out in the 80’s for a reason. They make you appear wider and bigger than you actually are. Some of the brighter colored jeans also look really tacky.

I don’t like skinny jeans. They’re torture devices as far as I’m concerned.

I like leggings, though.

Sorry, but I’ve just lost 30 pounds and am thrilled to finally get into skinny jeans. But I will say that I’m sick and tired of tops and dresses that look like maternity wear. UGH. I just lost all that weight. I don’t want to look pregnant! And I freaking hate those stupid Uggs and Crocs. They were over before they began.

I loveeee skinny jeans and leggings , they wont go out of style, i love my uggs i hope they never get out of style, umm ye for the fat people get of the skinny jeans its a norm, i hate the fake ass LV bags every ones wearing get over it

Kelly on

I’m keeping my skinny jeans and leggings. Get rid of the empire waist tops. I don’t care what your frame is; they make you look pregnant. (Unless, of course, you are.)

exa on

oh, c’monnnnn

How can people bash leggings? What about when its cold outside and if you want to wear a dress. Your legs will be prickly in no time!? Black tights make your legs look skinny, especially paired with boots.

I see them as the new nude panty hose.

I am so over the following things:
Uggs
Fake nails
Wedge heels

Nina on

High waist and skinny jeans! And those sunglasses are yuk! Leggings are great though. Those giant ridiculous purses that look like garbage bags. Leopard print coats gotta go.

ALY on

Definitely those ugly white sunglasses that looks like 70’s pop. They are just terrible. And also leggings on the red carpet. They are cute for every day casual wear with like jersey dresses and flats, but for the red carpet, they are just juvenile and so BLAH.

Vicky on

Ugh, retro plastic glasses!
