Stars Celebrate Dolce & Gabbana

Evan Agostini/AP

Leave it to Dolce & Gabbana to bring out the stars to celebrate their new Madison Avenue flagship store in N.Y.C. From the new face of their fragrance Matthew McConaughey (with girlfriend Camilla Alves) to his How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days costar Kate Hudson, the Gramercy Park Hotel was packed with a-list stars for last night’s dinner. And they were all smokin’ hot in their Dolce & Gabbana outfits. Eva Mendes told PEOPLE that the designers picked out her dress because “they kind of know what I like now because I’m such a diehard fan.” Anne Hathaway described her glittering black look as “definitely sexy without being too revealing.” Molly Sims summed it up best, saying “If you wear Dolce, you are hot, you are sexy.” We couldn’t agree more.

Eva Longoria’s Big Apple Shopping Spree!

Courtesy Sara Jaye Weiss/Startraks

With BFF and stylist Robert Verdi in tow, Eva Longoria hit some of Manhattan’s best stores this weekend for some pre-holiday shopping. The Desperate Housewife and her style team hit one of the star’s favorite affordable stores, Armani Exchange — Eva was even wearing an A/X sleeveless turtleneck. While in the store, Eva picked up a ton of presents for husband Tony Parker and a white wool wrap coat, stone embellished maxi dress and lurex leggings for herself. Next stop, Sak Fifth Avenue’s famed shoe floor where Eva picked up a pair of Christian Louboutin slingbacks in nude and high-heeled leopard boots. After hitting the Solstice boutique for a pair of YSL sunglasses, she headed to Coach for some fabulous accessories. The actress picked up a pair of Jilly travel ballet flats, the Legacy Thompson top handle bag, the new Tattersal bangle and the signature Coach Medallion Necklace to name a few things. That’s what we call power-shopping!
