I think it's disrespectful to display nearly nude, airbrushed photos in ads. These ads hurt self-esteem and body image in women, set unrealistic expectations for men, and also force overt sexuality on those of us who'd rather not see it (e.g. men who are trying to respect their wives' feelings, women who value modesty). Not to mention the effect on children, who are already being sexualized younger and younger. Since not everyone wants to see you half-dressed, it's best to be fully dressed and only let CERTAIN people see cleavage, etc. Like your husband, for instance. Companies advertise this way because they know it creates, in women, a desire to look different and buy products to achieve that goal. Why give your money to someone who's trying to make you feel insecure and trying to make you have unrealistic hopes for their product? Sorry, but I'm VERY sick of our oversexed culture.
