Hair hair is a total mess. She should have made a serious donation instead of getting a butch haircut and then used her star power to get others to donate more, they would be one step closer to a cure. People say a cheque can’t replace their hair, true, but if they CURED cancer nobody would lose their hair anymore.

Her Butch haircut is AWFUL. She looks like the GUY who fixes my car. If this is about charity, write a cheque. Making a mess of yourself does nothing and if she used her “celebrity” to raise money instead of self serving photo-ops she could actually achieve something.

If Hilary wrote a $1 million cheque and then publicly encouraged other celebrities to Match her EVERBODY would hear about it. A cure is a far better goal than a wig. Her Butch new look is Awful and does nothing to genuinely help patients. I do not think you will find a single patient who would rather a rug than a cure.

I thought that Hilary cutting her hair was a great thing to do. The picture shown doesn’t do the cut justice. I lost my hair because chemo in May, and for me my self-confidence is at it’s lowest. The wig that will be made from her hair will make someone very happy. No amount on a check can bring self-confidence back.

I don’t think you people understand. Yeah, Hilary could’ve just written a fat check to the program/charity/research. But no one would hear about it. By cutting her hair and donating it, Hilary creating awareness. That can actually do more, because when people (like you and me) are aware, they will feel inspired to do the same.

And who cares if you get a bad haircut as a result? At least you are doing something to help others, and hair always grows back.

With hollywood stars getting $10 and $20 million per movie, she could easily donated $1 million to cancer research and the encourage others to join in. Her hair is a mess, sort of a greasy Elvis look, and I am sure patients would rather a cure than a wig.

Great thing for Hilary to do, but I wish her hair were a little bit more fashionable, this is just so boring, but I love that she donated her hair. I wish mine grew long enough to do that!

She looks great and she did it for a good cause! I cut my hair a while ago for Locks of Love which is a cause that makes wigs for children who are cancer patients. I am glad she did this because it brings such an awareness to the cancer cause.

She looks great and really did a good thing. The more attention is brought to the fight with cancer – the better, and the least such public people as celerities can do is to use their status for such causes. Thanks!
