Shop for a Cause: Bracelets to Benefit African Orphans

Courtesy of Angels in the Dust

Want to do good with your accessories? These rubber and wire Ubantu bracelets, made by HIV positive women in South Africa, serve two purposes. The women make a living while caring for their families at home, and profits go toward supporting Botshabelo, an orphanage for children left behind by the African AIDs epidemic. Angels in the Dust, a documentary telling Botshabelo’s founder Marion Cloete’s story, is a must see for anyone concerned about the world’s children. To add to the heartbreak, the orphans’ stories are interwoven with the dramatic parallel saga of the orphaned elephants of Pilanesberg National Park in South Africa. The bracelets are $15 each and come in small, medium and large — click here to buy one. And for more information on the movie, click here.

Get the look: Rebecca Romijn’s Bebe Dress

Mark Sullivan/WireImage

She always looks like a million bucks , so we were more than a little excited when Ugly Betty’s Rebecca Romijn revealed that she only shelled out $150 to look this good! The star chose this gorgeous gray Bebe dress for a luncheon for Los Angeles Confidential magazine’s Fall Fashion Issue. And it’s a natural choice, considering the former supermodel is the newest face of the company, which she tells PEOPLE is “a great brand! It’s always a good fit.” As for the sparkling cuff, “It’s fake!” she offers, laughing. “I shouldn’t have let that go so easily. $1 million!” The final piece of the ensemble, a paw print necklace, was given to the dog-loving star by her co-star Becki Newton. We’ve tracked down Rebecca’s look for you — you can even nab it on your next trip to the mall.
