Roberto Cavalli’s signature animal prints have us ready to pounce on his limited collection for H&M launching this Thursday. Featuring red carpet dresses, ruffled blouses and leopard lingerie for the ladies and tailored suits with cobra cufflinks for the fellas, it’s all about rock glamour. “This collaboration with H&M allows me to give a gift to the young audience that loves what I do, but might not because to own a Roberto Cavalli piece,” says the designer. And he’s right! The 50+ pieces take their inspiration from actual Cavalli pieces that you’ve seen on Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, and Victoria Beckham — the ultimate look for less. Sure, if it stuck around long enough. Problem with these limited collections is that most of us don’t have a chance, given the wide interest and low production. My schedule tomorrow won’t allow me to stand outside the door and line up to be the first in. If I don’t get it, then I’m relegated to eBay where the price could be anything. In any scenario, it’s like throwing food to the fishes… toss out a morsel and let ‘em all fight for it.

That’s irritating. I don’t want to fight for it.

I just came back from the Montreal store. Never in my LIFE did I see clothing snatched up that fast. It was literally over in 5 minutes and every time a piece was added back to the floor, it was like a school of sharks circuling to strike.

I went to the store in amsterdam this morning, it was a madhouse!!! I managed to get the dress i wanted tho, the gold sequine one, it’s one size too big but i’ll have it altered.

Everything was gone in two three minutes tho, it was crazy!! People fighting over stuff.. oh lord. Haha! They were like vultures over a dead leopard. Literally, given the prints.. Ok, not funny. Hehe..

I’ll go again next time to just film people. Insane..
