The black is a classic 1920′s-30′s cut and does not make her look like a child. Did Louise Brooks look like a child? I doubt it. The black makes her look more alive the other is so much muted blah….People now would have wanted Coco Chanel to go blonde and layered. Ewwww.

However, I think from first glance a lot of the reason the lighter hair is looking better is because of the makeup! lol I mean, imagine that dark makeup on the lighter hair picture… I actually have to say I prefer her darker hair. It’s more unique and she does it well (go find some different pics of her with dark hair and NOT gothy makeup).

Even though I love her bob and blunt bangs, I just didn’t care for her dark hair, the color just seemed a little too harsh for her. She has a beautiful complextion and she needed a color to soften her look up more. I’m so glad she chose this light brown color. The color makes her look fresh, young, and brings a much more softer appeal to her, and also really brings out her beautiful eyes. I also LOVE her make-up, she looks better and more natural. I’m loving her side-swept bangs too. Keep this look for awhile Christina!
