Would You Wear Alicia Keys’s Green Eyeshadow?

We often color-coordinate our bags and shoes — sometimes, we even throw in a matching belt. Alicia Keys took that idea a step further and matched her shimmering eyeshadow to her kelly green dress. We think Alicia always looks gorgeous, but this look may have taken the whole matchy-matchy thing a little too far for our taste. Tell us: Would you match your eye makeup to your outfit? Only if I were as beautiful as she is …… Alicia can wear any color of eye shadow.

As beautiful as she is, matching your eyeshadow to your outfit is always a mistake. Wearing a contrasting tone would have made her eyes pop. The green washes her out when paired with her dress.

nOt EverYone hAs to fOllow toDays Trends. Who cares about matching your belt all the time….TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT!!!! I love the way ALICIA matches her eyeshdow. She looks beautiful.

I did that in grade school when I was first learning how to wear make up. I think I’d feel silly doing it now.

No, I wouldn’t match my eyesdhadow to my outfit. It looks a little “grade school” and I don’t think it does anything for the always-beautiful Alicia Keys!

I think she is a beautiful person so she can get away with it. I wouldn’t do it because 1) I have green eyes and 2) I would look like an idiot regardless.

I think natural is better. She still looks beautiful, but you should never match the color of your eyeshadow with your clothes.
