Boy Meets Girl Tote for Breast Cancer Awareness

Courtesy Boy Meets Girl

Eva Mendes may have brought attention to the Boy Meets Girl USA line by donning a charity hoodie for the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s 14th Annual Revlon 5K Walk/Run to help fight women’s cancer back in May, but we already thought the quirky line made fun presents for friends. Now the hoodie line has created a limited edition blue and pink tote for Urban Outfitters to benefit breast cancer. The Boy Meets Girl tote will be sold exclusively at Urban Outfitters stores and urbanoutfitters.com for $15 with 100 percent of its proceeds going to the Young Survival Coalition (YSC), the only international non-profit network of breast cancer survivors and supporters dedicated to the concerns and issues that are unique to young women and breast cancer.

There is no reason to critique a tote that is meant to raise money for a very worthy cause. It happens to be a tote that I will for sure purchase and wear proudly. I personally think it is adorable, but that is not the point. The point is that it is available at Urban for a reason- to donate funds to make people aware of the millions of young women dying of breast cancer every year. Please GROW UP– those of you who have the opportunity to GROW UP. Keep your immature comments to yourselves.

Thank you Sandy. This is precisely the point. Two amazing companies have joined forces to raise awareness for breast cancer found in young women. These companies should be praised for their contribution! They are giving 100% of the profits to the young survival coaltion for breast cancer.
Like Sandy has noted. Please grown up and keep your immature comments to yourselves. This is not something to joke about. This is really a horrible disease growing more and more in young women everyday. If you need to learn more about it so you understand check out http://www.youngsurvival.org
