Nicole Kidman’s Rule Breaking White Dresses!

Who says you can’t wear white after Labor Day? Leave it to Nicole Kidman to break the fashion rules — and look totally flawless doing it. The star had a whirlwind weekend in New York, promoting her new film Margot at the Wedding. Friday night, she hit a screening in an ivory Prada dress adorned with a bow, while Sunday night she attended the film’s N.Y.C. premiere in a black belted Balenciaga lace dress. We think that the snowy dresses set off the actress’s pale complexion and blonde hair perfectly, and breaking the rules is what fashion’s all about these days! Those dresses are in shades of ivory, not a “true” white. The rule about not wearing white after Labor Day refers to a pure white, not ivory or winter white.

YES…I would wear white. Colors are what we make them. None of them are off limits no matter what time of the year it is.
Its what you do with it that keeps you in season!

The rule about not wearing white after Labor Day went out of the window AGES ago! The only thing the seaon should dictate is fabric and style, but certainly not something as trivial as color.
