Get the Look: Jennifer Garner’s Bright Dresses

Jennifer Garner is one busy lady! Making the talk show rounds in New York City, The Kingdom star is taking the muggy weather in stride in some fun and flirty dresses in fall’s bright colors. For a morning stop on NBC’s Today Show Jennifer showed off a purple silk Derek Lam dress and then changed into an Alberta Ferretti green sheath for an afternoon taping of Letterman. I really love the green one. She looks great – better now than she did before the baby! I also caught her on Letterman; she is very down-to-earth and friendly. I think she is a great role model… out of the parazzi spotlight and focusing on work and motherhood.

The purple dress looks terrible for two reasons: winkled satin and hands in pockets. When will these women learn to not have their picture taken with their hands in their pockets? It looks terrible. Love the green dress and both pairs of shoes, though.

For some reason, a lot of dresses and skirts these days have pockets. It’s not exactly flattering, but hey, they’re there to be used.
