Jenna Fischer Defends Her Dress on Myspace.com!

When Jenna Fischer appeared on the Emmys red carpet, we’ll admit to some collective head-scratching over her dress. We love Jenna, we love that she was taking care of her back and we love the color — but there was something about it. Turns out that we weren’t the only ones, and Jenna took to her myspace.com page to sort it out for her fans. She writes, “I know there was a lot of controversy about my dress. I ended up on a few Worst Dressed Lists. But, man, did I love it. I know, I know…the bow was as big as my head. BUT…I loved it! It was flowy and silky and…did I mention that I LOVED it! I saw Tim Gunn on the red carpet and he said that he liked it. So, I have that.” Well, Jenna, you also have our support — there’s nothing better than feeling totally great in what you’re wearing and picking a gown because you love is just the right reason.

And Jenna also reminds us that “the new season of The Office starts THIS THURSDAY with a special one hour episode called “Fun Run”. The show picks up 2 months after the finale. You will know everything you want to know after this first episode. It’s great!” Check out the teaser on youtube.com

I love Jenna and the whole Office gang! I actually like the dress, although the bow is a bit to large for my personal taste. But I think its probably one of those dresses thats absolutely goregous when you see it up close. Her hair and makeup look fabulous though..I’m glad to see her so happy.

So glad you blogged about Jenna! I adore her…

Glad she has no regrets about wearing something she loved-good for her…

However, next year I wish 2 things:

1) She would wear a form fitting dress in a color (because she rocks the neutrals often)

2) That she would win the Emmy, dang it! She deserves it…

I like Jenna’s dress. I think it would look a bit better without the bow, or with a smaller bow, but I do not think she belongs on any “worst dressed” lists.

Love her, love the dress. It was much more unique than most we saw that night. She looked comfy and happy – she appeare to be dressing for herself and not following a trend. Go Jen!!!!!!!

I think the dress is like a piece of art, absolutely beautiful. Too many of the choices on the best dressed list are ’safe’ and just plain boring.
