Beyonce’s New Darker ‘Do: Love It or Hate It?

Stephen Lovekin/WireImage

Although she’s one of pop music’s most famous faces (and one of the PEOPLE’s Best Dressed!), the shorter darker ‘do Beyonce wore to the launch party for Diddy’s new fragrance, Unforgiveable Woman, made her an unrecognizable woman. Even the man of the hour didn’t realize the “Irreplaceable” singer was in attendance. “She just had a new hairstyle. I didn’t recognize her,” Diddy admitted. “It was real sexy.” Changing up her look is nothing new for Beyonce, whose hair has gone from big and bouncy to sleek and shiny and from super straight to two-tone ringlets. But her deep brown side-swept curls she showed off at Diddy’s party caught us by surprise — in a good way. Tell us: Do you love Beyonce’s new color or do you prefer a lighter shade?

Stars Get Glam for the V&A Gala

PA Photos /Landov

A dazzling dose of glamour came to London last night as the capital’s favorite fashionistas attended the V&A Golden Age of Couture Gala. Kate Moss arrived to much paparazzi fanfare in a cream vintage gown by Christian Dior, with her date for the evening, legendary photographer Mario Testino, snapping the model with his vintage camera as she glided up the pale pink carpet. Thandie Newton wore a multicolored print dress by Emilio Pucci, while Claudia Schiffer sparkled in Chanel. Other guests including Elizabeth Hurley, Eva Herzigova, Courtney Love and Prince, who all enjoyed a quintessentially English feast of lamb shank and parsnip shepherds pie and cocktails in the garden. With the temperature in the courtyard dropping (staff were even handing out pashminas to the shivering guests) and a whole day of London Fashion Week shows beginning in a matter of hours, guests left the glitzy museum and headed home, all clutching their official V&A catalogues, sure to be the coffee table tome of the season.
