Was Hollywood in a patriotic mood tonight? The major colors of the night at the Emmys were red, white … and blue! Ali Larter, Kate Walsh and Mary-Louise Parker stunned in shades of crimson. Katherine Heigl, Debra Messing, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Marcia Cross shone in creamy gowns. America Ferrera, Tina Fey, Ellen Pompeo, Kristen Bell and Rashida Jones were all true blue in inky dresses. Jennifer Love Hewitt looked amazing. She wasn’t over the top like she normally is. Very beautiful.

I can’t really pick just one, so I’m going for four here. I’m choosing Katherine Heigl, America Ferrera, Sandra Oh, and Olivia Wilde.

Favorites: Katherine Heigl, Ali Larter, Kate Walsh {did not like her hair though}, America Ferrera, Debra Messing, Ana Ortiz, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Kristen Bell, Heidi Klum {hated her hair though}, Sandra Oh, Olivia Wilde, AND MORE….

Not Favorites: Eva Longoria, Hayden Pantierria, Portia De Rossi, Marcia Cross, Mary-Louise Parker, Ellen Pompeo, Rebecca Gayheart, AND MORE….

I liked Katherine Heigl’s dress. The white was beautiful on her. Well, I was right on 2 things. I picked Zac Posen for her {I chose a different dress though} and I picked white for her. America Ferrera was GORGEOUS in cobalt blue. I predicted that blue was definitely gonna be in. America chose a great color and a dress that really fit her body nicely. She really knows how to accentuate her body. Sandra Oh was simply magnificent! She was truly at her best last night. She knocked it out of the park. Ali Larter’s dress was certainly sexy, and the color was perfect for her. The dress was simple and classic. The sleakness of the dress looked absolutely beautiful on her body and I loved her hair and make-up. Kate Walsh was stunning in red, but I hated her hair.

Eva Longoria’s dress was nice, but that dress would have been perfect for the GG, not the Emmy’s. I loved her hair though. I hated Marcia Cross’ dress. I also hated Ellen Pompeo’s dress. The belt, the necklace, the hair, yuck. The dress would have looked so pretty if she were to have kept it to a minimal, and just let the dress speak for itself. Rebecca Gayheart had delicious arm candy, but her dress wasn’t all that great. There’s something about Carlos Miele dresses I don’t like. The dress would have looked perfect if those sleeves didn’t ruin it.

I won’t comment anymore, because I’ve already written a novel. There’s just too much more to say….
