This reminds me of the hat Carrie wore in the 6th season of Sex and the City, in the episode where she and Berger are arguing and Berger sarcastically says to Carrie, “Nice hat.”

I love hats! I hope they come back in style.

I am not a big fan of hats. I would never wear this one. Looks weird, and for a clown

Princess on

I like hats but this one looks as though it belongs in the late 1800′s or early 1900′s.

Actually, this looks like a throwback to the 1940s, a smaller version of what Rosalind Russell wore in the opening scenes of “His Girl Friday” (1940, also starring Cary Grant).

The thing about hats is that they need an appropriate wardrobe to go with them, so unless there is a major shift and people in general start to dress more formally, I don’t see this being the start of a worldwide trend. But then, that isn’t the point of a $300 hat, now is it?

OMG….yeah I would wear this hat if I were a clown. Maybe I can wear it while pretending to sing on the hilltops of Switzerland like from the “Sound of Music.”
