Zac Posen Tote to Benefit Teachers

communa-k

Celeb favorite designer Zac Posen has teamed with DHL to create a limited edition handbag, to be launched during New York Fashion Week, to benefit the nonprofit organization, TeachersCount.org, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to raise the status of the teaching profession and provide resources to the education community. The designer’s handbags, which normally retail from $800 and up, are already popular among stars like Rachel Bilson and Beyonce and now teachers can bring some Hollywood glamour to their classrooms. The red and yellow leather tote is everything Zac Posen is famous for: fun, feminine, and glamorous. Get Zac’s bag for yourself or the teacher in your life, $400, for a limited time at toteforteachers.org — and remember, the best part is that 100% of the proceeds will benefit Teachers Count.

Stars At Fashion Week! Nicole Richie’s Cameo at Max Azria

Bryan Prahl/Splash News Online

Max Azria sure knows how to get the celebs out for a fashion show. From our seat we spied Ciara in a beautiful long purple tube gown chatting up the reporters. Carrie Underwood arrived shortly afterwards, followed by Molly Sims, singer Mya and Ivana Trump. Just before the first model appeared on the runway, Nicole Richie hurried in to nab her seat in the front row, wearing a long sparkly dress and patent sandals. The glowing mom-to-be kissed her seat-neighbor Molly hello before settling in to watch the desinger’s soft feminine frocks float down the runway. As soon as the lights came on, Nicole disappeared! Next we headed over to the J. Mendel show, where we spotted Carrie Underwood again — after her quick dress change — along with LeAnn Rhimes, Jamie Lynn-Sigler, Mary J. Blige and Leven Rambin. Our heads are still spinning from all the star sightings so far this week! Check back tomorrow for more.
