What's Your Favorite Drugstore Beauty Product?

Unfortunately, most of us don’t have unlimited budgets to spend on cosmetics, haircare and skincare. Luckily, there are tons of great beauty products to be found just a few aisles over from your laundry detergent and dental floss. Hair stylists, makeup artists and dermatologists consistently pick drugstore finds like Maybelline Great Lash and Cetaphil as their favorites — and we have more than a few of our own that we can’t live without. Tell us: What is your favorite drugstore beauty product?

Covergirl Trushine Lipstick in Cranberry Shine.

I’ve been using Natural Instincts hair color for 2 years now and have yet to be disappointed. I strayed to another brand once and the color was not at all what I thought I was getting. This stuff is gentle and “settles” after a couple washings to look very natural. Also it’s semi permanent so if you goof it’s not as hard for a stylist to fix.

L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara. It’s the only drugstore mascara that gives lots of volume and absolutely no clumping. I use Dior mascara usually but I still always carry the Voluminous with me in my purse.

Nutrogena Body Oil, The Sensual Moisturizer, everyone always comments on how good I smell and my skin is unbelievably soft.

Covergirl LashExact, for someone with short and out of control eyelashes, this is the best mascara I have ever tried by far. I don’t even have to use an eyelash curler anymore!!

#1: Blistex Lip Medex (a necessity during a Canadian winter & all year long)
#2: Cetaphil (comparable to Clinique’s 3-step cleansing soap but better)
#3: Jameson’s Vitamin E Face Cream (very rich & leaves skin super soft & refreshed)
#4: Cover Girl Volume Exact Mascara (great for short lashes with it’s smaller brush)
#5: Keri Body/Bath Oil (use in bath or directly on skin after bathing; nice, light scent)
#6: Neutrogena Foot Lotion & Fast Absorbing Hand Cream (honestly fast absorbing, non-greasy & exteremly moisturizing)
#7: Life Brand (Shopper’s Drug Canada Brand) Daily Moisturizing Lotion with Oatmeal (exactly like Aveeno but 1/3 of the price)
#8: All Marcelle make-up (love the tinted face moisturizer with SPF, the bronzer/blush & translucent face powder)
#9: Goody Ouchless Thin Hair Elastics (always have a few with me at all times)
#10: Sally Hansen’s Hard As Nails tinted (lasts forever & doesn’t split my nails)

If I were to win the lottery, Shopper’s Drug Mart is the first place I’d clean out!

Defnitely Rimmel Nail polish’s (the brush makes for a perfect application!)”Violet Plum” lipstick by NYC…it matches every skin tone! And of course, Benzagel spot treatment. You put a dab of that on one of those pesky zits, and it’s gone the next day. No joke!

Has to be Cover Girl’s Lash Exact, it is the best brush I have ever used!
