No matter your fashion preference, Valentino was on everyones list of favorite designers.
His talent and the beauty of his clothes were exquisite.
His designs were simple, elegant and glamorous at the same time. And they were made for real women.
Its very sad news.

I am extremely sad to see Valentino say good bye to this thing we call fashion. He has been such an inspiration to me and so many others. I will miss him dearly, I am excited to see what his next two shows will bring. There is nothing I can do to stop him from leaving so, ciao my fair friend, ciao. =[

Valentino had a brilliant career. He was a gifted, creative man who definitely had a touch for designing the exquisite.

We love you, Valentino!! Please pass your legacy onto a worthy apprentice, although you will never be replaced in this girl’s heart! <3

OMG!!! I’m so sad . . . he’s an amazing desinger who knows how to dress a woman. And his men’s suits are nothing to sneeze at either! I own several of them and have had the pleasure of wearing some of them to red carpet events. There will never be anyone like him in the world of fashion again. Elegant, talented, and most of all, a gentleman.

i am so sad to see that Valentino is retiring. It is nice to know that he left a large mark in the fashion industry, and i hope that future designers look to his designs for inspiration.
