First we saw Angelina and Beyonce put their spin on the must-have pencil skirt, and now America Ferrera is giving us her take. The Ugly Betty stepped out in a slim-lined Black Halo pencil sheath for the “Hot in Hollywood” event this past weekend. The actress even added another fall favorite — a wide patent belt by YSL. We love the idea of a pencil skirted dress–it saves us from having to decide on a top! And just a few days later, America celebrated her hit show coming out on DVD in a high-waisted Nanette Lepore pencil skirt with a crochet blue Etro top, lengthening the petite star.
