Debra Messing Helps Celebrate Saks’ Shoes

To satisfy the legions of shoe lovers that shop their flagship New York City store, Saks Fifth Avenue built a new floor dedicated to shoes that is so big, it actually has its own zip code! Debra Messing, in a purple Gaultier dress, Jonathan Kelsey heels and Chanel clutch, was on hand last week to cut the ribbon to the new shoe salon, which houses over 100,000 pairs of shoes. The actress, who picked out her heels the night before on her private tour, told PEOPLE that Saks’ 8th floor is, “awe-inspiring! Everywhere you turn there are beautiful shoes. It is going to be a Mecca for any shoe lover.” Not only can shoe shoppers relish in tons of coveted shoes, but they can also send out their mail with designer stamps. In honor of Saks’ unbelievably large department, famous footwear designers, like Christian Louboutin, have come up with designer shoe stamps sold exclusively on Saks 8th floor.
