Debra Messing Helps Celebrate Saks’ Shoes

PNP/ WENN

To satisfy the legions of shoe lovers that shop their flagship New York City store, Saks Fifth Avenue built a new floor dedicated to shoes that is so big, it actually has its own zip code! Debra Messing, in a purple Gaultier dress, Jonathan Kelsey heels and Chanel clutch, was on hand last week to cut the ribbon to the new shoe salon, which houses over 100,000 pairs of shoes. The actress, who picked out her heels the night before on her private tour, told PEOPLE that Saks’ 8th floor is, “awe-inspiring! Everywhere you turn there are beautiful shoes. It is going to be a Mecca for any shoe lover.” Not only can shoe shoppers relish in tons of coveted shoes, but they can also send out their mail with designer stamps. In honor of Saks’ unbelievably large department, famous footwear designers, like Christian Louboutin, have come up with designer shoe stamps sold exclusively on Saks 8th floor. Messing already has her eye on a few pairs of Louboutins, admitting to PEOPLE that “in a comfortable pair of heels, I feel stronger, more confident and more feminine.” If you can’t make it to the store in person, check it out online at saksfifthavenue.com.

I’d say that is just about as close to Heaven as you can get on Earth…LOL

What are you people talking about! I agree w/ Jenna. She looks like an ugly idiot.

Saks spent SO muhc money on the flagship shoe floor. Why couldn’t they put a little more effort into finding someone more shoe worthy to open?

I like Debra but she’s lost her inner fashion sense like 2 years ago.

I think that she looks very elegant in this outfit. The only thing that I would change would be the sleeves of the dress along with the wideness of the botton half of the dress. I would make the sleeves a little less poofy and the bottom half of the dress less veluminous.

BTW I was talking about the shoe store not Debra. Never been a fan and after seeing her in that dress, yuck! Purple is my favorite color but it’s just a boring dress. If I had 100,000 pairs of shoes to choose from I would not have chosen the ones she did.

all debra did was open a shoe store, do you’ll need to critize her for than.
