Beauty Roadtest: Eyelash Conditioner

Your mother warned you the eyelash curler would break your lashes. Despite that advice, you’ve spent years crimping your lashes into a flirty curl. Well, I finally learned my lesson. No prizewinners to begin with, my lashes were falling out and breaking off. No amount of mascara would make them look much better than a stubble, and I was starting to panic. But then, I heard about Jan Marini’s Age Intervention Eyelash Conditioner, the cult fave of Hollywood celebs. The stylist on Desperate Housewives orders the wands by the boxful. Rachel Ray has raved and Amber Valletta wouldn’t be caught without this miracle worker. Better yet, derm to the stars, Dr. Paul McAndrews, whose specialty is all things hair (as in repairing those bald spots caused by extensions) recommends it. The conditioner is brushed on makeup-free eyes at bedtime — just never with makeup. I wasn’t buying the talk of miracles, but after three months of (almost daily) my lashes are denser, lusher and easier to curl — yeah, that’s right, I haven’t given up the curler either. When my friend first told me about this “miracle” eyelash product from Jan Marini I told her she was crazy to spend that kind of money on a product like that. Then I saw her results- super long lashes that looked like extensions even before putting on mascara! I grudgingly forked over $160 and must admit it is one of the best products I have ever used. I get so many compliments about people thinking I am wearing fake lashes.

it has nothing to do w/not be able to afford it, i don’t want to afford it.
michelle too bad for you that your eyes lashes are growing like a jungle!

Do you paint it on each lash individually or over the lid of your eye? I rather pay a lot for a product that truly works than pay a little for one that doesnt.

I have been using this stuff since January, and it is AMAZING. Well worth the $$! You just use it like an eye liner, and place it directly on the roots of your lashes.

I am a huge Jan Marini fan (my moms a dermatologist) and this eye lash conditioner is one of my favorite products! Some of my friends pay over $400 for lash extentions that only last 2 months, so the $160 price tag is well worth it.

Also, Dria, Jan Marini also makes a hair conditioner that you spray on your roots after your shower. I have been using it for around 2 months and my hair already feels fuller and denser. You should try it.
