Of course it’s a bit over-the-top, but I think it is quite pretty and would wear it. The shoes don’t go well with it at all.

Hmmm…I would wear this dress….without the poof at the bottom, but the dress is cute, and the colors and pattern are different. I wouldn’t wear the shoes with this dress though, I would stick with a much simpler shoe, nothing too flashy.
