Emma Roberts has been one busy girl. After celebrating her Sweet 16 and the release of her first starring movie, Nancy Drew, the young actress launched an ad campaign for handbag line Dooney & Bourke. Like Lindsay Lohan and Mischa Barton before her, Emma Roberts is the new face of the brand’s Spring teen collection, but she is actually the first face of the brand to have an actual bag named after her! The “Emma” bag is made of buttery soft glove leather, with bridle leather trim and solid brass hardware and comes in two sizes in eleven great colors (left in white). The Small Emma bag is $210 and the Medium Emma Bag is $235, both available online at dooney.com. Get the plaid Medium Madras Duffle Emma is carrying, $165, at dooney.com too!

Hmmm … the Emma bag looks like it was made by Oscar Meyer, not D & B.

I’m not a fan of D&B – seems everyone has one of those these days (you see as many of them as you do fake Louis V’s).

O’Wryly, thats hilarious! :-P

Well, I personally don’t care for the small Dooney bags. I think their bigger purse collections are better. This bag is ugly!!! Instead check out their hobo leather collection, they’re so hot!

amber on

she has been their spokesperson for like a year now…why is this now news?

The “Emma” bag looks like a friggin hot dog! Who would actually carry that?? I wouldn’t! I normally like dooney and bourke but i don’t know what they were thinking when they said “yes” to this hot-dog Emma design. The plaid one is much cuter!

eleanor on

yeah no kidding! I think Oscar Meyer did design it! I just kinda want to put ketchup, mustard, and pickles on it and eat it right up! The plaid one is sooo much cuter!

Never u mind on

Cute girl… hideous bag. I was thinking the same thing O’Wryly… it does look just like a hotdog. Don’t know if I should carry it or eat it. I also don’t like Dooney & Burke. Their bags look either really granny-ish in leather, or they look like a hot graphic print mess. For this price range, I’ll go Coach. Better style, better quality and more classic.

I am still laughing at O’Wryly’s answer. I thought the same exact thing when I saw it. I do like the plaid one, though

T-Molly on

I love this bag because of the shape for young girls and also because of all of the colors

I love this bag and have been looking all over for it! Havenot found a white one yet. It is different, absolutley cute. I own about 9 original Coach handbags, and 3 Dooney’s. Both purses are fine handbags.
