Stars Love A Bargain Too: Hayden Panettiere’s Steve Madden Spree

Hayden Panettiere doesn’t need to don super-luxe high heels like other young Hollywood starlets. With boyfriend Stephen Colletti in tow, the Heroes starlet hit up the Beverly Center’s Steve Madden store. Hayden is a big Steve Madden fan and scooped up three pairs of his affordable foot wear! An eyewitness says she immediately went for the gold Mixup pumps, $80, which she wore out later that week to the Nickelodeon studios in L.A. Among her other purchases were a pair of red Talli flats, $40 (on sale from $70!) and the Latch buckle boot for $150. Who doesn’t love affordable star style?

Who cares is the shoes are “Tory Burch knock-offs.” Can you afford the real things? Most of us can’t. Don’t hate on the girl just because she shops like the rest of America and buys affordable pieces.

I’m a little confused about that phrase “affordable”- Steve Maddens are friggin expensive! But anything from Steve Madden makes me melt into a blubbering pile of goo, so…sigh…

You’ve got to be kidding me, Steve Maddens are NOT expensive . . . unless you’re a poor college student or a teenage girl who depends on an allowance.

Keep in mind that there are people who read this blog who make actual salaries, and can afford $150 shoes on a regular basis. Something that might be expensive for you will be affordable for a lot of other people (such as myself).
