Hayden Panettiere doesn’t need to don super-luxe high heels like other young Hollywood starlets. With boyfriend Stephen Colletti in tow, the Heroes starlet hit up the Beverly Center’s Steve Madden store. Hayden is a big Steve Madden fan and scooped up three pairs of his affordable foot wear! An eyewitness says she immediately went for the gold Mixup pumps, $80, which she wore out later that week to the Nickelodeon studios in L.A. Among her other purchases were a pair of red Talli flats, $40 (on sale from $70!) and the Latch buckle boot for $150. Who doesn’t love affordable star style?

Sure, Denise Richards looks amazing in a bikini, but daughter Lola is rocking a pretty sweet suit herself. Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale turned up at the LA premiere of Hairspray to show support for their High School Musical 2 co-star (and Vanessa’s boyfriend) Zac Efron. The two friends stole the red carpet in their mini dresses and bold accessories. Vanessa showed some leg in a bow-topped black Jay Godfrey trapese and Ashley donned a copper and grey chiffon babydoll dress. Carmen Electra is definitely one star who likes to play around with her hair color — we’ve seen her run the gamut from bright blonde to deep brunette. But when she turned up at the L.A. premiere of Hairspray last night with almost-black locks, we couldn’t help but do a double take! Maybe it’s the darker color or the sleek, straight ‘do, but Carmen just looks so different to us. Carmen’s rep tells PEOPLE that the change is for a new film so we’ll have a while to get used to the new look. But right now, we’re still undecided about which color we like better.
